MPA is a non-profit, multi-issue, citizen action organization with 28,000 members. We maintain offices in Portland, Lewiston and Bangor and strive to involve Mainers throughout the state who share our values and wish to work for a better Maine. Directions to our Portland Office

From the South (on I-95)

• Take Exit 44, the I-295 NORTH exit, towards SO. PORTLAND/ PORTLAND DOWNTOWN (Toll $.50)
• Take Exit 6A FOREST AVE exit
• At the end of the exit merge right onto Forest Avenue and move into the left lane to continue straight on Forest
• Near the top of the hill (Congress Street), look for metered parking or pull into the parking garage at 44 Forest Avenue
• Walk to the top of the hill where Forest Avenue ends and turn left. 565 Congress is a couple of doors down. We are on the second floor.

From the North (on I-295)

• Take exit 6A FOREST AVE exit
• At the end of the exit merge right onto Forest Avenue and move into the left lane to continue straight on Forest

• Walk to the top of the hill where Forest Avenue ends and turn left. 565 Congress is a couple of doors down. We are on the second floor.

From the North (on I-95)

• Take I-95 South (Toll Road)
• Take Exit 48 (formerly Exit 8), Westbrook exit
• After the toll plaza, turn right onto Riverside Street
• Proceed to Warren Avenue and turn right (immediately after the Home Depot)
• Follow Warren Avenue approximately (1.3 miles)
• Turn right onto Bishop Street
• Follow the curve left. 68 Bishop Street will be on your right

From the South (on I-95)

• Take Exit 183, the US-2 / Hammond St. / ME-100 exit, toward Airport
• Turn right onto Hammond St. (US-2 / ME-100)
• Proceed on Hammond St. approximately 1.5 miles
• Hammond St. will turn into State Street once downtown
• 27 State Street will be on your right

• Take Exit 185 BROADWAY exit
• Turn left onto Broadway and continue 1.2 miles
• Turn right onto State Street
• 27 State Street will be on your right

From the North or South (on I-95)

• Take Exit 80, the ME-196 / LEWISTON exit
• Turn left onto Alfred A. Plourde Parkway
• Make a slight right onto the ramp
• Make another slight right onto ME-196 W / Lisbon Street
• Continue approximately 2.1 miles on Lisbon Street
• 278 Lisbon Street will be on your right, at the first light just after Lisbon Street turns into a one-way road
